Magpie Inkcap mushroom - original linocut print
If you've ever been lucky enough to spot a magpie inkcap you'll know that they're pretty bewitching to look at. A relatively rare member of the inkcap family, their Latin name is Coprinopsis picacea (from pica pica, the Latin name for the magpie), and despite being beautiful they're definitely not something you'd want to eat!
This little print is based on a photo of a magpie inkcap I found Wytham Woods in Oxford. It measures 12x17cms and is printed with Schmincke water-based ink on Canson paper.
SHIPPING & DISPATCH TIMES: All orders are sent Royal Mail second class unless Local Collection is selected - please let me know if you are in a hurry for something and would like to upgrade to faster delivery. Dispatch times are 5-7 business days from receipt of order, again do let me know if you need an item quickly and I'll do my best to help.
